Golf Coaching at North Shore Golf Club

Whether you’re picking up a golf club for the first time or looking to sharpen your game, our PGA professionals offer coaching for all ages and skill levels.

With great practice facilities and experienced coaches, North Shore Golf Club is a welcoming place to learn, improve, and enjoy golf. Lessons are available for both members and non-members.

A Pathway for Junior Golfers

At North Shore Golf Club we welcome junior golfers from age 5 and up, with programmes designed for all skill levels - from complete beginners to aspiring elite players.

Junior golfers do not need to be club members to participate in our coaching programmes.

North Shore Golf Club has a proud history of developing golfers who have gone on to represent Harbour and New Zealand.

Our club provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where young players can learn the game, build friendships, and develop skills that will stay with them for life.

North Shore Junior Academy

The North Shore Junior Academy supports young golfers who are showing strong potential and commitment to the game.

The Academy aims to:

• identify promising junior players
• support their development through coaching and mentoring
• help players progress toward competitive and elite golf

Selected players receive additional coaching and player support to help them continue developing their skills and confidence.

Practice Facilities That Support Learning

Our coaching programmes are supported by excellent practice facilities that allow golfers to develop every part of their game.

Facilities include

• Covered driving range with 12 bays
• 230m+ full flight driving range
• Turf tee (available at times)
• Short game practice area up to 40m
• Practice putting greens
• Driving nets
• On-course coaching access

These facilities allow our coaches to support players in developing both technical skills and on-course confidence.
